Reagan says America can be entrusted with military might

President Reagan declared Saturday that America ''can be entrusted with military might'' because ''we don't like war, we never have.'' In a speech to the National Italian American Foundation, the President said peace is necessary to ensure that the United States ''will always be a haven to the immigrants who've enriched it.''

''To ensure the peace we must remain militarily strong,'' Reagan said.
