Ferraro says No. 1 issue is threat of nuclear war

Geraldine Ferraro said Wednesday at a meeting of Ohio's women Democratic leaders that the most important issue in the campaign is reducing the threat of nuclear war.

She also attacked President Reagan's budget policies, saying he will have to raise taxes in a second term to help reduce the deficit and that if his administration were going to do it fairly, ''wouldn't they be concerned about telling you about it?''
