Marcos reappoints wife to Philippine Cabinet

President Ferdinand Marcos appointed four new Cabinet members Saturday, but retained most of the previous ministers, including his wife Imelda, who had said she was quitting the government. Mrs. Marcos remains human settlements minister.

Mrs. Marcos also has been governor of Metro Manila and a member of the National Assembly. It was not announced whether she would resume those positions. The President has yet to appoint 17 nonelected members of the legislature.
