Christian militia OKs Lebanon's peace plan

The Christian Lebanese Forces, Lebanon's main Christian militia, joined the nation's two major Muslim fighting units Sunday in accepting a government peace plan for an army takeover of west Beirut.

Final details of the plan, designed to end 10 months of nonstop sectarian warfare and five months of battles within the capital, are due to be submitted for government approval on Wednesday and possibly implemented the same day.
