A June 26 story by Tony Hawkins, headlined ''Zimbabwe crimps political opposition after murders,'' said that many analysts in Zimbabwe think Joshua Nkomo's ZAPU party was ''bound to win'' a clash against Prime Minister Robert Mugabe's ruling ZANU-PF party. It should have read that ZANU-PF was bound to win. The article also stated that the outlook for Mugabe was bleak. It should have read that the outlook for Nkomo was bleak.
