Chinese premier concludes 6-nation tour of Europe

Chinese Premier Zhao Ziyang returned home Sunday from a six-nation tour of Western Europe that he described as a ''complete success.'' Designed primarily to encourage exports of high technology for China's modernization program, Zhao's 18-day visit took him to France, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Italy.

He said China's relations with Western Europe will develop ''firmly and durably'' but that he hoped Western European countries will become more competitive in their prices, quality of products, and supply of loans and other services.

Throughout his trip, he repeated China's statements that the Communist government wants peaceful reunification with Taiwan.
