Senate panel may join House on nerve-gas denial

The Senate Armed Services Committee has tentatively agreed with the House to deny the $105 million sought by President Reagan and the Pentagon to resume the production of nerve-gas weapons after a 15-year moratorium.

The informal action, by voice vote in closed session Tuesday, could seal last Thursday's House decision against production. It would mark the third year in a row that Congress has rejected Mr. Reagan's call for the production of ''binary'' chemical weapons.
