Swedish troops fire at mysterious frogmen

Swedish troops hunting a foreign submarine fired at mysterious frogmen seen emerging from the sea on the tiny island of Almoe. A spokesman at Karlskrona naval base said troops were searching for several frogmen and had opened fire several times Sunday.

Almoe Island is inside an area that has been sealed off for more than three weeks by the Swedish armed forces, who are convinced they have trapped a foreign vessel, thought to be a Soviet minisubmarine.
