Argentine military leaders will face court-martial

Former Argentine President Leopoldo Galtieri and two other members of the country's former ruling military junta will face court-martial for Argentina's defeat in the Falklands war with Britain, an official communique said Friday.

Galtieri, who was also commander in chief of the army at the time of the war last year, will be tried in secret by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, along with former navy commander Jorge Anaya and former air force chief Basilio Lami Dozo.

No date was given for the trial.
