North Korea sowing hate against South, its allies

North Korea said Tuesday it was strengthening education among communist party members and workers to instill in them ''a burning hatred'' for American, Japanese, and South Korean leaders.

Rodong Sinmun, newspaper of the ruling Workers (communist) Party, was quoted by the North Korean Central News Agency as saying such education was urgent because of North Korea's ''direct confrontation with US imperialism.'' The paper said the US and South Korean governments were the major enemies of the North Korea and that their actions had reached ''an extremely dangerous and reckless stage.''
