US Navy denies locating 'black box' from KAL 7

The publicly owned Japan Broadcasting Corporation quoted government sources Tuesday as saying US ships had located the ''black box'' in-flight recorder of the downed Korean airliner. The US Navy denied the reports, which followed the dispatch at US request of a 10-member international survey group to join American vessels searching for wreckage.
