A coin-operated public computer terminal - the nation's first - was unveiled Wednesday in a Pittsburgh hotel lobby. Its inventor, Ken McNulty, predicted the machines will become as commonplace as pay telephones and video games. The terminal will allow users to plug into data bases such as the Dow Jones industrial average, the New York Times information bank, and Dun & Bradstreet financial listings.
