AFL-CIO lists companies as being against unions

The AFL-CIO named a ''dishonor roll'' of five corporations it accused of anti-union activity: Litton Industries, Procter & Gamble, Faberge, Capital Cities Communications, and Indiana Desk Company.

Howard Samuel, head of the AFL-CIO's Industrial Union Department, told a news conference Wednesday that organized labor has no problem with companies that resist unionism, but does object to those that tell workers ''they either can have a job or a trade union.'' The department said it picked the five because each has demonstrated a clear corporate determination to break the unions that represent their workers.
