Pakistani police arrest government foes

Pakistani police Sunday arrested four opposition leaders hours before they were due to lead an anti-government march in the center of the rebellious southern province of Sind.

Police sources said the leaders were detained in the village of Naudero, 300 miles from Karachi, as they emerged from hiding to lead the march, which opposition sources said was due to be attended by several thousand people.
