The Soviet Union has rolled out the red carpet for Samantha Smith. Arriving to a welcome worthy of a head of state, the sixth-grader from Manchester, Maine, and her parents were given a chauffeured tour of Moscow, including a stop at Lenin's tomb. On Saturday hordes of Soviet children gave her a rousing welcome at their summer camp on the Black Sea. Soviet President Yuri Andropov had invited the Smiths to visit after Samantha wrote hin a letter.
