The Unicorn

June 13, 1983

The most beautiful thing that ever lived is the Unicorn. With its tail and mane so handsomely long whisking through the air, and its sleek body galloping over the greener than green hills where there is no one trying to bother or capture it.

Along with the outstanding white body, it has black hooves. They look like four pieces of perfectly carved black coal with a kind of glaze to make them shine as this creature of beauty gallops.

All these things make the Unicorn the loveliest creature. But the thing that makes the Unicorn a spectacular thing is the ivory white horn on the top of its head which twists perfectly up to a point.

The unicorn is the most beautiful thing that ever lived. . . . . . in my mind.
