Walesa, ignoring police, arrives at shipyard job

A smiling Lech Walesa arrived for work at the Lenin shipyard, ignoring plainclothes police who had put his apartment under 24-hour guard. Also, nine of his associates were released by Polish authorities. Mr. Walesa and the nine were detained and interrogated during the weekend after a meeting Friday of as many as 30 Solidarity leaders.
