Wall Street was not the only stock market setting records. After the Dow Jones industrial average jumped 22.45 points Tuesday, closing at 1,209.46, European and Asian markets exploded upward, too. The Tokyo average jumped 27.32 points, to 8,634.79, for its second consecutive daily closing record. In London, the Financial Times Ordinary Index topped 700 for the first time. Singapore, Taiwan, and Frankfurt markets were also swept up by trader enthusiasm.
