Heraclitian

The ball, tumbling down the waterfall of a gutter, before it died tried to utter an Heraclitian phrase. Though in a daze as it began to sink and sputter, the ball had time distinctly to mutter, ''All this, I'm sure, is very nice. But who'd want to step in the same river twice?''
