3-man spacecraft lofted by Soviets for docking

The Soviet Union launched a three-man spacecraft scheduled to dock with the orbiting space station Salyut 7, the official news agency Tass said. Systems on board the spacecraft, Soyuz T-8, were operating normally, Tass added.
