The question

March 8, 1983

Super nova super new the galaxies stretch like sand through a universe without end. The mind staggers at the picture, the eyes stare in wild disbelief, the fingers twist in the lap as though stitching the heavens to a frame so one could see the embroidered patterns better. So now we see even further than before eons beyond eons and bursts beyond bursts. But one question will never be answered the one I asked as a child of a distracted mother. But what is it in? She didn't know either.
