The Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted to send the nomination of Kenneth Adelman as US arms control chief to the full Senate with an unfavorable recommendation. Mr. Adelman, making his third appearance before the committee, fought for approval to run the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency.
