'The Winds of War' show clinches viewing record

It's official - Herman Wouk's ''The Winds of War'' has become the most-watched program in television history, according to ABC Research. Monitor correspondent Arthur Unger reports that it is now being claimed that ''Winds'' garnered 140 million viewers who watched all or some segment of the seven-part mini-series last week. Among previous top shows, ''Roots'' garnered 135 million viewers.
