Lech Walesa claimed a moral victory Wednesday in his latest battle with Poland's Communist authorities after being told he was back on the payroll of the Lenin Shipyard in Gdansk.

Sources told Reuters that Mr. Walesa was summoned to the yard's personnel department and told he would receive his pay as of Jan. 17, the day his leave of absence ended.
