Speaking of the environment, the National Park Service is soliciting public comment on its plans to convert Yellowstone National Park to day use only in order to protect the geothermal marvels. It seems that too many roads and buildings have encroached on the area. The plan looks sound if it means assuring that future generations of visitors will be able to watch Old Faithful in all its soaring splendor.
