US curbs on textile imports anger Chinese

China warned the US Sunday that trade relations could suffer if Washington persisted with its ''unreasonable'' attempts to curb Chinese textile imports. Talks on a new bilateral textile agreement broke down Jan. 13. In the absence of a new agreement to supercede the one that expired Dec. 31, the US Jan. 15 introduced unilateral curbs on Chinese textile imports backdated to Jan. 1.
