Talks agenda still eludes Israel, Lebanon envoys

December 31, 1982

Israel and Lebanon ended a second round of talks Thursday without agreement on an agenda for the US-sponsored negotiations on the removal of all foreign troops from Lebanon.

''Further progress was made,'' an Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman said on behalf of all the delegations. ''Some differences were resolved, and others were narrowed.'' The delegations will meet again Monday in the Beirut suburb of Khalde.
