Baldrige raises possibility of $200 billion US deficit

Commerce Secretary Malcolm Baldrige said Tuesday the budget deficit could approach $200 billion this fiscal year - and no part of the budget, including defense, should be exempt from cost-cutting efforts.

President Reagan's top economic forecaster, Martin Feldstein, said earlier that the deficit this fiscal year, which ends next September, could approach the publicly that this was likely. He was speaking on ABC's ''Good Morning America.''
