Ernest Hemingway once called Paris ''the town best organized for a writer to write in that there is.'' He loved this city of twisting streets, latticed cathedrals, and romantic bridges. It was here he spent a good slice of his early writing career. This book is an exploration of Hemingway's Paris - how it has changed while staying the same. Nearly 200 pictures, mostly black and white, are juxtaposed with brief passages by Hemingway, his contemporaries, and biographers. Only a few of the pictures are from historical files. The result is an inspiring journey.
