A regional court in Wroclaw, Poland sentenced Wladyslaw Frasyniuk, one of the top organizers of the Solidarity underground opposition, to six years in prison for carrying on union activity after the imposition of martial law. The court also ordered he be deprived of his civil rights for a further four years.
