New Englanders will be able to sail out of Boston on the QE2 this winter on her cruise to the Caribbean. The ten-day cruise, from Dec. 8 through 18, includes ports of call in St. Thomas, Martinique, St. Kitts, Tortola, and San Juan. Considered the last great ship of her kind, the QE2 has been totally refurbished. Crimson Travel Service of Cambridge is offering some special rates, including a new super stand-by fare for $999 per person, double occupancy. After full payment has been received, the passenger will be placed on a waiting list; he will be notified three weeks beforehand as to his status.
