Fresh charges to Marcos on human rights violations

Amnesty International, in charges denied by visiting Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, accused the Manila government of systematic human rights violations.

The London-based human rights group said in a report made public Friday: ''Of particular concern are reports of 'disappearances' and extrajudicial executions, known in the Philippines as 'salvaging,' which are commonly accompanied by torture of the victim.''
