Visit with alleged defector rejected by North Korea

North Korea rejected a renewed call from US Army officials for an interview with an American soldier alleged to have defected to Communist north Korea last month.

The call was made at a meeting of US and North Korean secretaries to the Military Armistice Commission at this Korean border armistice village.
