Virginian is convicted for refusing draft sign-up

Enten Eller, a clergyman's son who believes war is sinful, was convicted of failing to register for the draft. He was placed on probation and ordered to register or face the possibility of a prison term and a $10,000 fine.

US District Judge James Turk convicted Mr. Eller at the close of a one-day trial.
