Convicted murderer executed in Virginia

Former policeman Frank Coppola died Tuesday night in the electric chair about an hour after the US Supreme Court vacated an earlier postponement of the convicted murderer's execution. He was the fifth person to be executed since the US Supreme Court ruled the death penalty constitutional in 1976.
