Terrorist attacks continue in Paris

August 12, 1982

Paris experienced two more terrorist attacks Wednesday.

A powerful bomb exploded outside a building housing Jewish firms. The group claiming responsibility demanded Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon. It was the fifth incident of anti-Israeli violence here since the invasion of Lebanon June 6.

Two people were injured in an explosion outside the Iraqi Embassy, witnesses said. The blast set fire to two embassy buildings, a bus, and two cars parked outside the embassy, in the exclusive 16th District in western Paris.
