The wind is soft and Nauset Marsh mallard come to nest. The sun-swept sand of Snowshore strand shadows a plover's breast. Hard by, the ''Queen of Nauset'' lies slatting in the breeze . . . the best is anchored fore and aft beneath the seas . . . The wind is soft and plums are at the greening but already they grow . . . blossoms a-blow . . . sweet for harvest gleaning.
