Polish people warned of greater shortages

The hard-pressed Polish people were warned to expect continued rationing for the rest of the year, with even greater shortages of food, clothes, and furniture in the coming months.

The Ministry of Internal Trade predicted that ''supplies will further decrease in comparison with the first half of this year,'' the government newspaper Rzeczpospolita reported.
