Boeing pleads guilty in false sales reporting

The Boeing Company pleaded guilty to charges it failed to disclose $7.3 million in commissions from jet sales to airlines in Spain, Lebanon, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic.

The Justice Department said that for 10 years Boeing filed loan documents with the US Export-Import Bank which falsely certified commissions to sales agents. Boeing paid a $400,000 fine Wednesday.
