The Desert at Dusk

The parched land teems with wildlife - reptiles, mammals, birds, insects. Its vibrant plant life ranges from the delicate wildflower to the towering Saguaro. Mankind is a newcomer, journeying here, most recently, to escape harsher climates to the north and partake of a booming Sunbelt economy. But Arizona's desert doesn't seem to notice. It remains, especially at magic moments like dusk, a world apart.
