Qatar cuts ties with Zaire for Israel-boycott breach

Qatar joined Saudi Arabia in breaking off relations with Zaire over the African state's decision to restore ties with Israel. Qatar's minister of state for foreign affairs said Zaire's move was hostile to Arab and Islamic countries.
