Mangoes

The mango season runs from now through September, so now is the time to try them. Choose mangoes that are slightly soft. Firmer ones will ripen at room temperature in a few days.

Try a mango garnish with eggs at breakfast. Top cheesecake, crepes, yogurt, cottage cheese, shortcake, or ice cream with slices of mango, or make a fresh fruit salad.
