Thai diplomat arrested on heroin smuggling charge

A Thai diplomat was arrested on charges of distributing three pounds of nearly pure heroin. Federal agents said they found an additional 4.5 pounds of heroin in the Chicago apartment of Sihadej Chindawongse, vice-consul at the Thai office in Chicago.
