Soviet envoy is expelled by Sweden on spy charge

Sweden expelled a Soviet diplomat for trying to recruit Latvian emigres as spies, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said. The ministry told Soviet vice-consul Albert Liepa, a Latvian responsible for processing visa applications, to leave Stockholm immediately.
