Venezuelan oil putput down 11%

Crude oil production in Venezuela averaged 1,869,000 barrels a day through April 4 this year, down 11.3 percent from the year-earlier figure, the Energy and Mines Ministry said in its latest weekly newsletter, released Monday.

The figure represents a decrease of 239,000 barrels a day from the corresponding 1981 period, the newsletter said.

Exports of crude and refined products averaged 1,547,000 barrels a day through April 4 this year, down 11.95 percent.
