Israeli Embassy building in Paris hit by gunmen

Masked men raked an Israeli Embassy building with machine-gun fire and the embassy immediately blamed the Palestine Liberation Organization. Police said no one was injured in the noon attack on the Israeli purchasing mission, which deals with military equipment. Police said there were no clues to the attackers' identities and no one had been arrested.
