Ex-Green Beret says US recruiting for Nicaragua

A former US Green Beret member said the Reagan administration has approved a plan for paying bonuses to former and current members of the Green Berets to infiltrate Nicaragua, according to CBS News.

The man said he was approached by his former commanding officer in Vietnam and offered $50,000 for taking part in six weeks of training in Central America followed by infiltration into Nicaragua.
