Industrial nations hold talks on unemployment

Government ministers from 24 member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development begin two days of talks in Paris today (March 4) on how to reduce unemployment without causing rampant inflation. OECD officials believe the number of unemployed in the 24 nations could rise to 28.5 million by the end of 1982, from less than 26 million at the end of 1981.
