Sonnet

March 3, 1982

As dawns breaks a clean heart now shines clear with words to coin a new poetry with words to praise our newborn light. Our quiet talk crystallize the moments as your silences fill my heart with sound. Now I hear you laughing - a girl swinging high there to the trees! Bright lights flicker on the foreign river yet in this family of friendship the strange city suddenly becomes home: forever at one as rediscovered love is born.
