Waiting for the crocuses

It's quiet here now at the Fletcher Farm and Craft School in Proctorsville, Vermont. But come summer, barn and shed and house and fields will be filled with artists and artisans. Estimates vary (they waver in the millions) but craft schools abound coast-to-coast. And most institutions report that advanced enrollments for this summer already top last summer.
